About Nate Tubbs
Nate Tubbs is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, a former UBA Heavyweight Champion and a former #3 IBF heavyweight title contender. He is the brother of former WBA Heavyweight Champion Tony “TNT” Tubbs and “Iron” Mike Tyson’s principle sparring partner for 15 years.
About NTGH
The Nate Tubbs Group Home & Amateur Boxing Program for Teenage Boys, a certified nonprofit organization is forging ahead with his vision to re-start the programs his charitable organization once offered largely due to and motivated by the death of Derrick Tubbs, Nate’s’ brother who was murdered by an act of street violence in 1980 at the age of 18. In 2008, Nate’s family was stricken by more violence as he lost his 20 year old son Nate Sanders, also to street violence. After a four hiatus due to the loss of his son, Nate is re-energized in his mission to stop the drugs, guns, gangs, violence and to save our kids.
This vital community service organization once helped over 60 local at risk teens and will again, by providing a group home for troubled teens with programs including; anger management classes, tutoring services, academic monitoring and college preparatory programs. It will also offer a world class boxing program teaching the sweet science and providing physical conditioning and mentoring programs with guest speakers, enabling teens to escape the violence of the streets and reach their full potential.
Once funds have been raised to obtain space, The Nate Tubbs Group Home & Amateur Boxing Program for Teenage Boys will begin to re-build its programs and offer these much services.

The Nate Tubbs Services
NTGH provides many services including: group homes and independent living accommodations for troubled teens and young adults, ages 8-21. Programs in anger management, educational programs including summer therapeutic day camps, tutoring, academic monitoring and college preparatory programs. Also offering a world class boxing program teaching the sweet science and providing physical conditioning and mentoring programs with guest speakers, enabling teens to escape the violence of the streets and obtain their education, graduating in order to reach their full potential.
The Problems
The problems of at risk teens are well known, but are inadequately addressed in our society. Those In many cases, teens are alienated and discarded from prevailing societal circles, and sometimes even family circles due to the choices they make and the behaviors exhibited. One of the goals of the NTGH will be to raise awareness about the plight of our at risk youth. Along with the teens NTGH will support with the same effort distressed families, to assist them in hard times and support them to help renew their future.
